The main lock bolt is automatically deadlocked when the door is closed, preventing the main bolt being retracted by a credit card.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced security rim lock the ERA Double Locking Nightlatch could be the answer for you, both the narrow style and standard sized locks, are the choices, they can be bought through our WEB SHOP at discounted prices. Both of these ERA BS Nightlatch systems can be fitted to aluminium, UPVC or composite doors, to prevent the easy access through these types of doors.

The ERA Nightlatches, which is non British Standard, but would be ideal for internal flats as well as doors with glass or UPVC and aluminium doors, they come in narrow 40mm and standard 60mm Nightlatches, they can be locked from the inside and automatically deadlatch, when closing the door.

Both sizes of this ERA Nightlatch can be fitted by our Master Locksmiths.

The ERA Double Locking Nightlatch is available in both 40mm (Narrow) and 60mm (Standard) back set, designed to replace most existing front door locks.

The product is ideally suited for solid and glass panelled wooden doors, as it has been designed with an ergonomic internal locking handle offering added security against forced entry.

The main lock bolt is “automatically” deadlocked when the door is closed, preventing the main bolt being retracted by a credit card.

The inside handle can be deadlocked by an anti-clockwise turn of the key from the inside so securing the lock against forced entry.

The lock comes with 3 keys.

The bolt can be held in the withdrawn position (only) with the use of the snib feature.

The Nightlatch case is available in Brass, Satin Chrome, and Polished Chrome finishes, with matching rim cylinders.

The Nightlatch has a press button hold back facility, so the door will not close shut, when emptying bins etc.

These locks can be mastered and keyed alike as well as passed or mastered to other cylinders, this can be done at our work shops as well as cutting any extra keys, before being sent out to you.

The bolt cannot be reversed.
